ASML Your Marathon Challenge

Would you like to finish under a real finish arch, just like the thousands of runners? On Saturday, October 10th, it’s your chance to cross the finish line under the iconic finish arch of the ASML Marathon Eindhoven on Vestdijk. Walk, run, or roller 41 km before the marathon weekend. Complete the final 1.195 km on Saturday, October 11th, and finish your own marathon. Read below to find out how to participate in the ASML Your Marathon Challenge.

Keep track of your eventful kilometers

A stamp card has been developed especially for this edition of the ASML Your Marathon Challenge. You can use it to mark off every challenging kilometer, so you can see exactly how far you’ve progressed in the challenge. The use of this stamp card is not obligatory.

ASML Your Marathon Challenge

Here you’ll find the route map for the ASML Your Marathon Challenge. On Saturday, October 10th, you’ll finish under the same finish arch where tens of thousands of runners will finish the following day.

How to participate?

Join one of the participating partners and walk or run 41 kilometers together in the run-up to the ASML Marathon Eindhoven. You’ll complete the final 1,195 km together with many other North Brabant residents at the ASML Marathon Eindhoven to complete your Marathon Challenge.  

How and when you collect the 41 km is entirely up to you and your team. Do this together during training sessions with one of the partner organizations or independently during your daily activities. For example, walk to the supermarket instead of driving.  

To participate, you can register with one of the collaborating partners. They will support and motivate you to get moving and keep moving and ensure that you can join us on Saturday October 10.

This year, you can also register individually. You don’t need to register with one of the participating partners; you can register using the registration form.

WHAT DOES THE PARTNER DO AND WHO CAN YOU REGISTER WITH?

  • Provide a fixed exercise moment during the week or once every two weeks
  • Are your point of contact for questions and ensure that you stay motivated
  • Monitor whether you exercise regularly
  • Taking care of the team registration for ASML Your Marathon Challenge
  • Receive the start numbers and ensure that you get your bib number

Will you take on the challenge this year and will we see you and your fellow North Brabant residents finish on the Vestdijk? You’ll be greeted with a beautiful medal at the finish line.

This year we have a fun extra offer: Participants of the ASML Your Marathon Challenge can visit Ima-Abasi Okon’s solo exhibition at the Van Abbemuseum for free upon presentation of their registration!

Ima-Abasi Okon’s exhibition at the Van Abbemuseum explores how ideas of physical enhancement are connected to colonial ideas. The exhibition also emphasizes movement at one’s own pace.

Upon presentation of the confirmation email for your registration for the ASML Your Marathon Challenge, you will receive one free entrance ticket to the museum.

The distance you cover during the exhibition counts towards your ASML Your Marathon Challenge!
