On this page, you will find information on how to get to the ASML Marathon Eindhoven. Travel advice is available for each region.
The start locations are Zilvermeeuwlaan (Saturday) and Montgomerylaan (Sunday). The finish for all distances is located on Vestdijk.
The event site is located at TU/e (Eindhoven University of Technology). Here, you will find various facilities, including the race office (bib and shirt collection), lockers, changing facilities, medal engraving, and the Business Lounge.

Roads along the course will be closed in phases.
What does the marathon mean for your area?
To ensure the safety of participants, volunteers, traffic marshals, and other road users, sections of the course will be temporarily closed to traffic.
These closures will be implemented using traffic management measures such as road signs and barriers, and will be supervised by traffic marshals.
Plan your journey in advance
Do you live, work, or operate a business, institution, or other destination along or near the course? Please allow for additional travel time and temporary traffic restrictions on Saturday 10 and Sunday 11 October.
We recommend reviewing your route in advance and, where possible, planning your journey outside the road closure periods.
For businesses and institutions, it may also be advisable to make arrangements in advance regarding the accessibility of staff, visitors, customers, suppliers, and emergency services.
Important to keep in mind
- The course will be closed to traffic approximately 1.5 to 2 hours before the expected passage of the first runner.
- At certain locations, it may still be possible to cross the course until approximately 20 minutes before the first runner passes.
- Once the final runner has passed, the course will be reopened to crossing traffic as quickly as possible.
- The complete reopening of a road may then take up to approximately one hour. Near refreshment stations, this may take longer locally due to the removal of equipment and waste.
- Emergency and assistance services will always have access to the course and may cross it if necessary.
- Temporary parking restrictions will apply at various locations. These areas will be clearly indicated in advance with traffic signs.
Access Information by Neighbourhood
During the event, several roads will be temporarily closed. Most neighbourhoods will remain accessible throughout the event. For the neighbourhoods listed below, temporary traffic measures will be in place during the event. Residents can use the designated access routes to enter or leave their neighbourhood.
Important: Please allow for possible short waiting times at designated crossing points. Traffic marshals will be present to ensure the safe and efficient flow of both participants and traffic.
For healthcare facilities, faith communities, hospitals and out-of-hours GP services, we aim to ensure the best possible accessibility throughout the event.

On Saturday afternoon there are various running events. Between the running events it is possible to cross a number of streets. Plan your journey so that you leave the street at the times of “closure open”.

Residents of Driehoeksbos (Grand Combin) can access and leave their neighbourhood via the Monta Rosa cycle path.
Available between: 09:00 AM and 03:00 PM
Residents of Driehoeksbos (Ofenpas) can access and leave their neighbourhood via Ofenpas. A designated crossing point will be available at this location. Crossing is permitted when it is safe to do so and participants are not hindered.

Residents of the Generalenbuurt and Oude Toren can access their neighbourhoods via the Europalaan and John F. Kennedylaan.
Available between: 09.00 AM and 02:00 PM.
Residents of Vaartbroek and Heesterakker can access and leave their neighbourhood via the Eindhovenseweg.
Available between: 09:00 AM and 03:00 PM
Closed to traffic from Friday 7:00 AM until Sunday 11:59 PM. On Friday, the crossings at Ten Hagestraat and Kanaalstraat will remain open.
A designated crossing point for residents is available at the intersection of Jacob van Maerlantlaan and Rodenbachlaan. Residents can enter and leave the neighbourhood here when conditions allow and participants are not hindered.

Eindhoven Central Station is within walking distance of the start and finish locations. Participants and visitors can travel by train to this station. Due to the expected crowds, please allow for extra travel time. Plan your trip before you leave and check the latest information on www.ns.nl.
Bus services
Due to the preparation work and the execution of the event, several bus lines will not run or will run according to a different timetable. To be well prepared, plan your trip on www.hermes.nl..
The best way to reach the city is by bicycle. You can park your bicycle at the designated locations. On this page you will find an overview of all bicycle parking facilities in Eindhoven. There is an additional bike parking located on Stadhuisplein on Sunday with 1000 spaces for bikes.

We advise all participants and spectators to travel by public transport as much as possible. If you know people in your area who are also going to run or go to Eindhoven, try to ride with each other. It is cozier, saves costs and is environmentally friendly.
Some parking garages in and around the center of Eindhoven are not accessible, or have limited accessibility around ASML Marathon Eindhoven. In the run-up to the event, we will publish an overview of parking garages that are accessible.
