Collect bib number

Bib numbers for Dutch particpants
Due to the production lead time for bib numbers, registrations completed on or before 1 September are eligible to have a first name printed on the bib. If you register after 1 September, you will still receive a bib number, but without your first name printed on it.

You can collect your bib number during the ASML Marathon Eindhoven weekend on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday during the opening hours of the event grounds at Eindhoven University of Technology (TU/e).

Registrations completed on or before 1 September are eligible to have a first name printed on the bib. If you register after 1 September, you will still receive a bib number, but without your first name printed on it.

Bib numbers for international participants
Participants living outside the Netherlands can collect their bib number during the ASML Marathon Eindhoven weekend on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday at the Race Office on the TU Eindhoven campus during opening hours.

Bib numbers schools and companies
Schools and companies can register up to and including 1 September. Registration will close after this date. The bib numbers of the schools and companies will be sent to the contact person the week before the ASML Marathon Eindhoven.

Bib number collection
You can collect your bib number and event shirt (if ordered) at the event site located at TU Eindhoven.

Walking cards can be collected at TU Eindhoven on Friday between 4:00 PM and 8:00 PM, and on Saturday between 7:30 AM and 9:15 AM.

Have you chosen to have your bib delivered? If so, you will receive it at home during the week before the event.

Important

  • Please complete the medical information section on the back of your bib number.
  • The bib number is personal and non-transferable.
  • Participants registered through a school or company will receive their race materials via their designated contact person.

Fill in the medical passport
For your own safety, you are strongly requested to fill in the medical passport on the back of the bib number. You must wear your bib number on your chest. The bib number is personal and non-transferable. In the event of an emergency, your bib number serves as a medical passport.

Can I cancel my registration?
You can only cancel if you are registered for the ASML Marathon Eindhoven (42.195 km) and ASML Half Marathon (21.1 km) and you have purchased a cancellation policy. For more information, see the general terms and conditions. Cancellation requests must be submitted via the contact form no later than 1 September.

With the official ASML Marathon Eindhoven app you can stay up to date with the latest news, receive updates, take selfies and follow your friends, family and favorite athletes.

The app can be downloaded from the App Store or Google Play Store.

How do I travel to the event?
We advise participants and spectators to travel by public transport as much as possible. Please note that many roads are closed and the city is very busy. Click here for all information about accessibility.

I have not received a confirmation email, what to do?
After you have registered, you will receive a confirmation email. So make sure that your email address has been entered correctly. Also check your spam box if you have not received the email within 30 minutes. If it is not there either, please contact us.

Do I receive a finish badge?
Every finisher on Sunday will receive a personal finish badge which can be downloaded. You will receive the link for this after the event by e-mail.

Will finish photos be taken?
Marathon Photos takes photos at various places along the course and of course at the finish, which you can find afterwards on your personal results page. Make sure your bib number is clearly visible and smile at the camera. You will receive the link to the photos by email after the event.

During the event, lost and found items can be brought to the helpdesk at TU Eindhoven until 5 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday.

If you have lost something during the event, please contact us via our contact form after the event and provide details of the lost item.

Can I modify my registration?
If you would like to update your address, order additional products, or transfer your entry after registering, you can easily do so through your personal dashboard. You can access your dashboard using the link in the confirmation email you received after registering.

Can I change my distance?

You can change your event distance up to and including 1 September by logging in to your dashboard, provided that the desired distance has not sold out. Switching to a longer distance is possible, provided that the difference in entry fee is paid. If you switch to a shorter distance, no refund of the entry fee (or part of it) will be given.
If you change distances after 1 September, you will start with the bib number assigned to your original event category.

Steps

  • Log in to your dashboard. The link is in the confirmation email;
  • Click on “change race”;
  • Select the distance you want to run and click on “continue”.
  • If you have chosen a longer distance and there is a price difference, you must pay the amount due by clicking on “Pay”.

€3 administration costs are charged for transferring the bib number, which must be paid by the buyer of the bib number in order to register the bib number to his/her name.

Are lockers and changing facilities available?

Lockers and changing facilities are available at TU Eindhoven on both Saturday and Sunday for the safe storage of your personal belongings. You can choose from:

  • Medium locker (€ 6,50) – 25 × 22 × 50 cm
    Suitable for a small backpack, shoes, and personal belongings.
  • Large locker (€ 7,50) – 25 × 36 × 50 cm
    Suitable for a change of clothes, a larger backpack, or a sports bag.

Due to limited availability, we recommend reserving a locker in advance through your registration or personal dashboard.

Where are the kilometers indicated?
At the ASML Marathon Eindhoven, every kilometer is indicated for all distances and there is a clock at every 5 km.

What are the minimum ages to participate?
For age limits, the age on the day of the event applies.

  • ASML Marathon Eindhoven: 18 years old
  • Belgium Championships Marathon: 18 years old
  • Business Estafette Marathon: 14 years old
  • ASML Half Marathon: 18 years old
  • Business Run Halve Marathon: 18 years old
  • Quarter Marathon: 14 years

Will I get a medal?
All participants will receive a medal after crossing the finish line as a reminder of the event. In addition, participants in the running events can have this medal engraved with their name and finishing time.

Participants in the Marathon Eindhoven Urban Walk receive a pin.

Can I have my medal engraved?
All participants on Saturday and Sunday can have their medal engraved immediately after completing their event. During registration, you can select the “Medal Engraving” option for €15.00. Medal engraving for the Kids Run costs €7.50. If you did not order this during registration, you can still add it by logging in to your dashboard. The link to your dashboard can be found in your confirmation email. You can also decide to have your medal engraved during the event, in which case the cost will be €17.50.

You can have your medal engraved at MetaForum on the TU Eindhoven campus on Saturday, October 10th until 6:00 PM and Sunday, October 11th until 5:00 PM.

Where can I meet up after the race with my supporters?
On Saturday, 10 October and Sunday, 11 October, Meeting Point flags will be located at 18 Septemberplein. Before the event, agree on a colour with your friends, family, or supporters so you can easily find each other after the finish. The available colours are blue, red, yellow, and green.

Looking to achieve a specific finish time at the ASML Marathon Eindhoven or ASML Half Marathon? Join one of the pacers from the Dutch Pacing Team. Their experienced runners will help you maintain a consistent pace and keep you on track to reach your goal.

The pacers are easy to spot thanks to their flags showing the target finish time. During the race, you can join the pacing group that matches your goal. Each pacer starts in the same start wave as the participants aiming for that finish time. You can find your start wave in your dashboard and on your bib number.

During the ASML Marathon Eindhoven, pacers will be available for target finish times from 3:00 to 5:00 hours, in 15-minute increments.

For each target finish time, two pacers will be available.

Disclaimer: In rare cases, a pacer may be unable to participate due to injury or other unforeseen circumstances. Although we will make every effort to find a replacement, this cannot always be guaranteed at short notice.

Is there an awards ceremony?
There are cash prizes to be won for the marathon distance in various age categories for both men and women (M35 to M70+). The winners in those age categories will also receive a free bib number for the next edition. The organization will contact the winners after the event.

At the ASML Half Marathon, numbers 1, 2 and 3 men and women receive a free bib number for the next edition. There are no cash prizes available for this. Prizes can be won for all distances for the 1st, 2nd and 3rd men and women. Bij de Kids Run zijn er geen prijzen.

These awards ceremonies are held on the day of the event.

Please note: the gun time is the official time. Every participant who reaches the finish line within the time limit receives a medal.

Can I take my backpack or camel bag into the start box?
We advise you to come to the start in running clothes. It is not permitted to take bags/backpacks into the start box (with the exception of camel bags) or to leave them unattended around the event site or course. Anything left unattended will be removed and discarded for safety reasons.

Will I receive my bib number/stamp card or do I have to pick it up?

You are urgently requested to complete the medical passport on the back of the bib number for your own safety. You must wear your bib number on your chest. The physical starting number is personal and non-transferable. In the event of an emergency, your bib number serves as a medical passport.

Can I transfer my entry?
You can transfer your bib number to another participant by logging in to your dashboard. The link to your dashboard can be found in the registration confirmation email.
At the bottom of your dashboard, select “Transfer registration” and enter the email address of the new participant. The new participant will then receive further instructions to complete the transfer.

If you transfer your entry after 1 September, the new participant’s name cannot be printed on the bib number, as the bibs will already have been produced. The bib number will be sent to the original participant’s address if the original participant has chosen this, so you are responsible for transferring the physical bib number.

€5 administration costs are charged for transferring the bib number of the marathon distance and €3 for the other competitions. The buyer of the bib number must pay this in order to have the bib number registered in his name.

How do I register as a fast runner?
Do you have a finish time below the times below, which you ran after October 1, 2024? Then you are eligible for an invitation to the ASML Marathon Eindhoven. You must send proof of your running time to info@marathoneindhoven.nl.

Requirements

  • Participation is only possible if you can prove that you have run the above-mentioned time after October 1, 2024;
  • There are only a limited number of tickets available;
  • Your registration for the ASML Marathon Eindhoven 2026 must be received by the organization no later than 6 weeks before the start of the race day. A registration does not automatically lead to approval, you will receive a confirmation by e-mail;
  • Send us proof of your finish time to info@marathoneindhoven.nl.

Starting waves and starting areas are arranged.
For the ASML Marathon, ASML Half Marathon, and Quarter Marathon, we use starting waves and starting areas. The division of the star waves and start boxes are determined based on your expected finish time given in the registration form. The start wave and the start box you are assigned to can be found in the information email and on your bib number.

To help ensure a smooth flow on the course, participants are assigned to a start wave, which can be found on their bib number. Please make sure you are in your designated start wave around 15 to 20 minutes before the start.

The time of the limits starts as soon as the last runner has passed the starting line.

Is there time registration?
Only the ASML Marathon Eindhoven (ASML Marathon, ASML Half Marathon, Quarter Marathon, BrabantSport City Run, and Kids Run) will be timed. An electronic chip is located on the back of your bib number. Draag je startnummer correct om je tijd geregistreerd te krijgen.

Information to ensure good time registration:

  • Wear your starting number visibly on your chest. Do not cover the bib number with a jacket or with your hands while passing the mats at the start and finish line. These mats pick up the signal from your chip (Also be careful when pressing your own stopwatch at the start and finish line).
  • Do not fold or wrinkle the bib number. Certainly not where the chip is.
  • Use four pins on the corners of the bib number, do not drill through the chip.
  • Do not remove the plastic spacer.
  • You can keep the bib number as a souvenir or throw it away with the normal waste (plastic).

What is the official time?

The gun time is the official time. This starts when the starting shot is given and stops when you cross the finish line. The net time is the time that starts when you cross the mat on the starting line and stops when you cross the finish line. The net time/chip time is stated as an extra service.

Toilets are available in the start and finish area. Toilets are available along the course. View their locations here.

Where can I find my results?
The results will be published on this page after the event. You will also receive the link to the results page by email after the event. Please note: the gun time is the official time. Do you have a question or comment about your result? Please send an email to ChronoRace, stating your bib number and any times you may have clocked yourself.

What refreshments will be available along the course and after the finish?

ASML Marathon Eindhoven

During the ASML Marathon Eindhoven, refreshment stations are located at 5 km, 10 km, 15 km, 20 km, 25 km, 30 km, 35 km, and 40 km. Water and AA Drink Iso Lemon (an isotonic sports drink) will be available at each station.

In addition, extra water stations are available at 7.5 km, 12.5 km, 17.5 km, 22.5 km, 27.5 km, 32.5 km and 37.5 km, where participants can collect water and sponges.

Chiquita bananas will be distributed at the 12.5 km and 30 km points. Toilets are also available at all refreshment stations.

After crossing the finish line, participants will receive a cup of water, a bottle of AA Drink Iso Lemon, a TREK bar, and a 500 ml Lindahls Protein Milk (strawberry or vanilla).

ASML Halve Marathon

Along the ASML Half Marathon course, water stations are available every 5 kilometres. Between these stations, sponge stations are provided where participants can make use of sponges and cups of water.

At the 12.5 km mark, Chiquita bananas will be available. Toilets are also located at the refreshment stations.

After crossing the finish line, participants will receive a cup of water, a bottle of AA Drink Iso Lemon, a TREK bar, and a 500 ml Lindahls Protein Milk (strawberry or vanilla).

Quarter Marathon

A water station is located around the 5.5 km mark.

After crossing the finish line, participants will receive a cup of water, a bottle of AA Drink Iso Lemon, a TREK bar, and a 500 ml Lindahls Protein Milk (strawberry or vanilla).

BrabantSport City Run 5 KM

After finishing, all participants will receive a cup of water, a bottle of AA Drink Iso Lemon, and a Snelle Jelle energy bar.

Kids Run

After crossing the finish line, all participants will receive a cup of water, a bottle of AA Sportwater, and a Snelle Jelle energy cake bar.

ASML Your Marathon Challenge

After crossing the finish line, all participants will receive a cup of water and a Snelle Jelle energy cake bar.

Marathon Eindhoven Urban Walk

After crossing the finish line, all participants will receive a cup of water and a Snelle Jelle energy cake bar.

Good preparation is very important to participate responsibly in the ASML Marathon Eindhoven. In addition, it is important that you listen carefully to your body during and after your running performance. If you opted for sending your bib number home when registering (only possible for Dutch postal addresses and for a fee), you will receive the bib number at home in the week before the event.
