Tears, exhaustion, and satisfaction. Emotions ran high in all directions during the record edition of the ASML Marathon Eindhoven. Thousands of runners crossed the finish line at various events of the ASML Marathon Eindhoven on the Vestdijk on Sunday, October 13th. RunningNL was at the finish line and captured the atmosphere!
Spectacular ASML Marathon Eindhoven breaks records
The 39th edition of the ASML Marathon Eindhoven will go down as a record edition. With a record number of 27,000 participants at the start and, as icing on the cake, a new course record, the organization can look back on a successful edition. Participants, volunteers and spectators: thank you for your enthusiasm!

It was another incredibly beautiful edition of the ASML Marathon Eindhoven. 25,000 people enjoyed this great event in the bright sun, the highest number of participants ever!
More than 18,000 runners enjoyed an atmospheric marathon weekend
1 year, 11 months and 128 days. That is the number of days since the start of the 2019 edition. With ideal running conditions, thousands of runners and spectators enjoyed the largest two-day sports event in the province of North Brabant as usual. Kenyan Silas Too won the edition with a personal record in a time of 2:06:32. A wonderful amount was presented to the KWF (Dutch Cancer Society).
Many personal records were run during the sunny edition of the marathon
30-year-old Laban Mutai won the 36th edition of the Eindhoven Marathon in a time of 2:06:40. He improved his personal record by almost one minute. The Kenyan finished second in the Eindhoven Marathon last year.
MORE THAN 23,500 RUNNERS MAKE THE ANNIVERSARY EDITION A WONDERFUL RUNNING PARTY
The 35th edition of the Eindhoven Marathon had a wonderful victory for Elisha Kipchirchir Rotich. The 28-year-old Kenyan athlete finished the Eindhoven Marathon in warm weather conditions in a time of 02:07:32, improving his personal record. Laban Mutai lost out to Kipchirchir Rotich and came second in 02:07:37. In third place Vincent Kipsang Rono (Kenya). He finished in 02:07:50. Numbers two and three also ran a personal record. More than 23,500 runners and sunny weather conditions made for a grand running event in Eindhoven.
