On Sunday 8 October, Kenyan Kenneth Kipkemoi managed to win the 39th edition of the ASML Marathon Eindhoven in a time of 2:04:52. In doing so, he tightened the course record from 2012 by more than 50 seconds. Belgium’s Chloe Herbiet was the first woman (2:27:54) to become Belgian Champion.

Traditionally, the ASML Marathon Eindhoven starts on Saturday with the walkers and the ASML Your Marathon Challenge. At the unique Marathon Eindhoven Urban Walk, many enthusiastic walkers discovered the city of lights. In the afternoon, hundreds of sports enthusiasts finished their own marathon by jointly completing the last 1,195 km.
