Tens of thousands of runners color the streets of Eindhoven during the 41st ASML Marathon Eindhoven

During the 41st edition, 38,500 participants took part in North Brabant’s largest two-day sporting event. Walkers, young athletes, runners, and large spectators created an unprecedented atmosphere in the city.

Thousands of runners crossed the finish line on Vestdijk on Sunday, October 13th, in various stages of the ASML Marathon Eindhoven. RunningNL was at the finish line and captured the atmosphere!

Spectacular ASML Marathon Eindhoven breaks records

The 39th edition of the ASML Marathon Eindhoven will go down as a record. With a record 27,000 participants at the starting line and, as the icing on the cake, a new course record, the organizers look back on a successful edition. Participants, volunteers, and spectators: thank you for your enthusiasm!

ASML Marathon Eindhoven is once again the most enjoyable marathon in the Netherlands

It was another fantastic edition of the ASML Marathon Eindhoven. 25,000 people enjoyed this fantastic event in the bright sunshine, the highest number of participants ever!

More than 18,000 runners enjoyed an atmospheric marathon weekend

One year, 11 months, and 128 days. That’s the number of days since the 2019 edition kicked off. Under ideal running conditions, thousands of runners and spectators enjoyed the largest two-day sporting event in the province of North Brabant, as usual. Kenyan Silas Too won the event with a personal best of 2:06:32. A substantial sum of money was presented to the Dutch Cancer Society (KWF).

Many personal records were run during the sunny edition of the marathon

30-year-old Laban Mutai won the 36th edition of the Eindhoven Marathon in a time of 2:06:40, improving his personal best by almost a minute. The Kenyan finished second in last year’s Eindhoven Marathon.

MORE THAN 23,500 RUNNERS MAKE THE ANNIVERSARY EDITION A WONDERFUL RUNNING PARTY

The 35th edition of the Eindhoven Marathon was a resounding victory for Elisha Kipchirchir Rotich. The 28-year-old Kenyan athlete finished the Eindhoven Marathon in warm weather conditions in a time of 2:07:32, breaking his personal best. Fellow Kenyan Laban Mutai was defeated by Kipchirchir Rotich, finishing second in 2:07:37. Kenyan Vincent Kipsang Rono finished third, finishing in 2:07:50. Runners-up and third also achieved personal bests. More than 23,500 runners and sunny weather conditions made for a grand running festival in Eindhoven.
